HYDERABAD:

Ten police officials, including a lady constable, were injured in Sukkur district as family and supporters of the deceased, Raza Zangejo, resorted to a protest.

Zangejo was allegedly killed in a police encounter. The protestors, carrying the deceased's dead body, had blocked the National Highway in Sukkur.

The police reportedly fired teargas shells while the protesters allegedly pelted stones over the cops.

The family claimed that Zangejo worked as a labourer in Karachi. According to them, Zangejo and his sister Zainab Zangejo were returning from Karachi when they were picked up by police from Tando Masti area.
