Confession videos of 116 individuals arrested during the PTI protest at D-Chowk on November 26 have emerged, revealing their involvement in violent acts during the crackdown.

According to Express News, the videos show the arrested individuals admitting to their participation in the violent clashes between PTI protesters and security forces.

Among those arrested are Afghan nationals who have confessed to being provided with weapons and participating in gunfire exchanges with the police and Rangers during the protest.

In the videos, several Afghan nationals disclosed that they hailed from various provinces of Afghanistan. One individual claimed that Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur lured them to Pakistan with promises of money, after which they were supplied with weapons in a vehicle that arrived at the scene.

Another arrested suspect admitted to being given an AK-47 rifle with which he fired into the air during the protest. He further confessed to firing at the police and Rangers when the security forces began shelling.

Sources also suggest that additional suspects detained during the D-Chowk crackdown are prepared to provide similar confessions regarding their involvement in the violent protests.

The release of these videos has raised concerns over the extent of the violence during the protest and the involvement of foreign nationals in the unrest. The authorities continue to investigate the matter and are expected to take further legal action based on the confessions provided.
