An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad has ordered a 14-day identification parade for 281 individuals arrested from D-Chowk during the PTI protest on November 24 while two women were sent to jail for judicial remand, Express News Reported.

The police produced the arrested individuals in the ATC, presided over by Judge Tahir Abbas Supre. A total of 283 accused, including the two women, were presented before the court. The accused's lawyer, Ansar Kiani, was also present during the proceedings.

The police had requested the court to conduct an identification parade for all arrested individuals, while the defence lawyer opposed the request.

He argued that the accused had been in police custody for six days and referred to a ruling from the Islamabad High Court regarding the identification parade process.

The arrested individuals were involved in two cases registered at Kohsar Police Station as well as cases at Karachi Company, Margalla, Secretariat, and Tarnol police stations. They were arrested on November 24 during the PTI protest at D-Chowk.
