Justin Timberlake has announced the cancellation of an upcoming performance on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour due to a back injury. The pop star shared the news on his Instagram Story on Saturday, revealing that he sustained the injury during his recent visit to New Orleans. Timberlake expressed his regret over canceling the December 2 show in Oklahoma City, explaining that his doctors have advised him to rest for a bit longer to ensure a full recovery.

While Timberlake did not specify the exact nature of the injury or provide a timeline for his recovery, he thanked fans for their continued support and reassured them that he hated having to make such an announcement.

The Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which began in April, has faced multiple setbacks. Last month, Timberlake was forced to reschedule several shows after being diagnosed with bronchitis and laryngitis, apologizing to fans and assuring them that the concerts from October 23 through November 2 would be moved to 2025. Additionally, he had to delay another show in October due to an injury that prevented him from performing. Earlier this year, Timberlake also canceled a London concert after falling ill with an undisclosed illness.

Despite these health setbacks, Timberlake’s tour has been a major event supporting his latest album, Everything I Thought It Was, which was released in March. This marks his first solo album since 2018’s Man of the Woods. Timberlake’s recent DUI charge, stemming from an arrest in the Hamptons this summer, has not appeared to impact the tour’s momentum. After pleading guilty in September, he publicly addressed the incident, urging others to avoid driving under the influence.
