Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur's cousin Sardar Saqlain Khan was shot dead in DI Khan.

According to police, unidentified gunmen targeted Saqlain Khan in the Dera Ismail Khan district, and he succumbed to his injuries at the scene, Express News reported.

The deceased, Sardar Saqlain Khan, was the son of Sardar Ismail Khan Gandapur and the brother of Sardar Faridun Khan Gandapur.

Saqlain Khan’s older brother, Faridun Gundapur, had previously contested elections in the Kachali constituency as a candidate from the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP).

Following the shooting, the police conducted a post-mortem, and the body of Saqlain Khan was handed over to his family for burial.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, though the motives behind the attack remain unclear.
