A model named Sabrina Krasniqi allegedly murdered her husband Pajtim Krasniqi by shooting him before turning the gun on herself on November 27, 2024. At the time of their deaths, she was 27 and he was 34, according to a report by the New York Post published on Friday, November 29.
Although specific details of Sabrina Krasniqi's career remain unclear, it is known that her maiden name was Sabrina Dzaferovic. In 2021, she participated in a report by Inside Edition, walking through Times Square to highlight the issue of street harassment, as reported by WPLG Local 10.
The tragic event took place at Beach Club II Hallandale, located in Hallandale Beach, around 12:30 a.m. on the 45th floor of the building. The authorities discovered the bodies at the scene.
NBC 6 reported that aerial footage from a helicopter captured the moment when two lifeless bodies were found under a tarp on the balcony, and visible bullet holes were seen on a glass door. The footage also revealed a box of roses with a heart shape placed on top, alongside a teddy bear.
The Hallandale Police Department was alerted to the shooting through a gunfire detection system called ShotSpotter, which recorded five shots followed by a pause, then one more shot.
According to a relative of Pajtim Krasniqi, Abi Gashi, who spoke to the New York Post on Saturday, November 30, the couple had lived in Florida for about two years. Gashi mentioned that Pajtim worked in a stock-related field while Sabrina had stopped working as a model.
Sabrina's family hailed from the Balkans, while Pajtim’s family was originally from Peja, Kosovo, before they moved to the United States, as reported by the Daily Mail. Gashi also shared his grief, saying: "I loved him like a brother. We had a connection like none other. He brightened up every room he was in. We're all still in shock, expecting him to walk in the door any minute."
