In the latest incidents, six more people were killed and eight injured, bringing the total death toll to 130, with 186 injured. Deputy Commissioner Kurram Javed Mehsud stated that police and security forces have been stationed at various locations in Lower Kurram to enforce the ceasefire. Efforts to establish peace in other areas are also underway.

He further added that due to the unrest in Kurram, all routes, including the main Peshawar-Parachinar highway, remain closed. Transportation along the district's main roads and at the Pak-Afghan Kharlachi border is also suspended.

The road closures have caused severe shortages of fuel, food supplies, and medicine, worsening the situation for the local population.
