Charity bazaar showcases global cultures

Deputy PM and FM Ishaq Dar opened the bazaar featuring vibrant cultural stalls set up by various foreign embassies.

A charity bazaar was inaugurated at the Foreign Office on Sunday to support underprivileged communities while celebrating cultural diversity.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar opened the bazaar featuring vibrant cultural stalls set up by various foreign embassies, offering visitors a glimpse into the food, handicrafts, and traditions of countries from around the world. Diplomats, their families, and residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi attended the event, which highlighted the rich heritage of participating nations.

Speaking on the occasion, Ishaq Dar praised the initiative, describing it as "a captivating blend of diverse cultures and experiences" that fosters global harmony and understanding. "Today's event provides a unique opportunity for the people of Islamabad and Rawalpindi to engage with the cultural richness of other countries while contributing to charitable causes championed by PFOWA," he said.

He expressed gratitude to the diplomatic community and attendees for their active and colourful participation. "It is wonderful to see the exceptional efforts of each country in showcasing their culture, cuisine, and artefacts, creating a memorable experience for visitors," he added.
