Sean 'Diddy' Combs’ former clothing designer, Bryana "Bana" Bongolan, filed a lawsuit against him in Los Angeles Superior Court on November 27. The designer alleged that the music icon hung her over a 17-story apartment building balcony on the West Coast in 2016. She is reportedly seeking over $10 million in damages.

Bana Bongolan’s website states she began her career in high school, designing for West Hollywood streetwear brands like Crooks & Castles. She later established her brand, BEINHABITED, which reportedly crafted outfits for celebrities such as Chris Brown, Meek Mill, and The Game. Her designs included sportswear, graphic tees, dresses, and leather accessories.

In 2017, Bana launched a collaborative fashion label, Orange by Bana. An older note on her website lists Cassie Ventura and Sean 'Diddy' Combs as notable clients from the U.S.

Bongolan has also worked with various Hollywood figures, including Jaden Smith, Ayesha Curry, Saweetie, and YG. She currently serves as the CEO of PosterChild Art Factory.

Attorney James R. Nikraftar, representing Miller Barondess, submitted Bongolan’s lawsuit against Combs. The detailed 17-page complaint alleged: "On or about September 26, 2016, Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs s*xually battered Ms. Bryana "Bana" Bongolan, dangled her off of a 17-story-high balcony, and then slammed her into the patio furniture on the balcony."

According to Deadline, the lawsuit claims the incident occurred while Bongolan was reportedly residing in Cassie Ventura’s Los Angeles apartment. The complaint described Combs’ alleged actions as "outrageous and abhorrent," asserting that the assault "violated Ms. Bongolan’s fundamental dignity, bodily autonomy, and sense of safety."

The legal document also claims Combs had a history of making threats, engaging in violence, and intimidating Bongolan during their interactions. It is alleged that Combs referred to himself as the "motherf***ing devil" and threatened her life to "terrorize, intimidate, and instill fear."

The complaint further stated: "The only purpose of dangling someone over a balcony is to actually kill them or to intentionally terrorize them and rob them of any concept of dominion over their own bodily autonomy and safety. It should be no surprise that is exactly what happened to Ms. Bongolan."
