Bhutto family has made huge sacrifices for country: Sharjeel

Says people from all over country come to Sindh for medical treatment

Senior Sindh Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said has said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and his family has made immense sacrifices for democracy, and today, PPP remains the most popular political party in Pakistan.

Speaking at PPP's 57th Foundation Day ceremony in Mirpurkhas, he stated that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto had honoured their commitments to the people of Pakistan.

He highlighted that PPP had transformed the country into a nuclear power, and it was under Benazir Bhutto's leadership that Pakistan achieved missile technology, empowered women, and fought for the rights of every segment of society.

Sharjeel emphasised that PPP's history of sacrifices was rooted in its commitment to public service, with many of its leaders sacrificing their lives in the pursuit of justice.

He further lauded President Asif Ali Zardari for his leadership, noting his significant contributions, including the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the Thar Coal Power Plant, and the passage of the 18th Amendment, granted greater autonomy to the provinces. Sharjeel also praised the ongoing efforts of President Zardari and PPP leaders in promoting the country's prosperity and the welfare of the people.

"Today, under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PPP remains a beloved party of the people. His leadership has resulted in PPP securing a third consecutive term in Sindh, with the province moving towards progress," Sharjeel declared.

He added that people from all over Pakistan now visit Sindh for medical treatment, as the province offers free healthcare, and no patient from Sindh seeks treatment in other provinces.

The ceremony was attended by a large number of PPP leaders and workers, including Provincial Minister Zulfikar Ali Shah, Provincial Minister Mir Tariq Talpur, MNA Mir Manwar Talpur, MNA Pir Aftab Hussain Shah Jilani, MPA Haji Noor Muhammad Bhurgri, Hary Ram Kishori Lal, Khairunnisa Mughal, Mayor of Mirpurkhas Abdul Rauf Ghori.
