Severed head of woman found

The severed head of a woman was found in a drain in Islamia Colony, sparking widespread fear and panic in the area.

Pirabad police rushed to the scene, called the Crime Scene Unit and shifted the head to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

The police said that the head was found in a dry drain and couldn't be identified immediately. Fresh blood marks on the face suggested the woman was killed shortly before discovery. Police cordoned off nearby slums, and started searching houses to find the woman's torso.

The woman's age is estimated to be 25-30 years, but no one has reported her missing.
