Man kills sister over domestic dispute

A man shot and killed his sister over a domestic dispute before escaping.

The police took possession of the body and shifted it to a hospital for medico-legal proceedings. A search operation was launched for arresting the suspect.

The incident took place in the 642GB area within the jurisdiction of Lundianwala Police Station.

Luqman had an argument over a minor issue with his younger sister Tayyaba at their home. In a fit of anger, he opened fire on his sister, due to which she succumbed to her injuries on the spot.

On receiving information about the incident, police officials arrived at the spot, took the body into custody for autopsy and conducted raids for arresting the suspected killer.

In another incident, a differently-abled youth was gang-raped.

Police said they were conducting raids to arrest the suspects after registering a case.

According to the police, Saqlain, Shahzad and Afzal spotted the victim working in a mills in the Bawa Chak area. After finding him alone, they put their hands on his mouth and assaulted him. The Millat Town police registered a case under the Section 375A.

Meanwhile, Latif alias Toota and Arshad alias Gud molested a 17-year-old resident of Nawabanwala.
