Three unidentified bodies recovered
The bodies of three unknown individuals, including a woman, were found in separate locations. A 45-year-old woman's body was discovered floating in the Bahadur Wala canal in the Nishatabad police station area.
Passersby, including Azhar, alerted the police, and citizens retrieved the body from the canal before the authorities arrived. Despite an investigation, no visible marks were found on the body.
However, the police are searching for her heirs. In another incident, a 35-year-old unidentified man was found dead under a bridge in the Peoples Colony police station area, who died mysteriously. Additionally, the body of a 33-year-old unidentified mentally disabled man was discovered in the Nishatabad police station area, who died mysteriously. Both bodies were taken to the hospital, and the police are working to locate their heirs.
Meanwhile, traffic police arrested eight reckless youths who were riding one-wheelers while conducting an operation on Canal Road and handed them over to the police.
Two groups of one-wheelers were caught on the road, who used to perform stunts by riding one-wheelers in groups in the early morning.
On this occasion, Chief Traffic Officer Farhan Aslam said that the loss of precious human lives on the roads will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Cases will be registered against the arrested one-wheelers.
The action was taken by the sector incharge and special anti-one-wheeling squads. It should be noted that the areas were identified by the Traffic Management Committee.
