Tiktok creator Jiare Schneider found dead after missing for 10 days, foul play suspected in Georgia

Ten days after Jiare Schneider, an aspiring TikTok creator, was reported missing, authorities confirmed the 31-year-old’s death.

His body was found in a wooded area in Jonesboro, Georgia, on Tuesday, Nov. 26, as reported by Fox 5 Atlanta and the Clayton County Police Department.

Lt. Ricky Porter, spokesperson for the Clayton County Police, stated, “Our officers received a call from friends and family of Jiare Schneider, who’s been missing from Forest Park.” The officers discovered the vehicle deep in the woods, indicating a high-speed approach toward the intersection.

Schneider’s body was recovered from a silver Toyota 4Runner, matching the description provided by his family. He had borrowed the vehicle from a friend to visit Rumors Night Club in Forest Park, Georgia, on Nov. 15 but never returned.

The wooded area where Schneider’s body was found is located 25 minutes from the nightclub and near a content house that his family believes he had visited that night.

"We were searching more toward around that content house he was last seen at. We never got to come this way because it was blocked off by construction," said family friend Germequ Bell to Fox 5 Atlanta. "Of course, [we’re] relieved that we found him, but still angry that we didn’t get the resources, the help that we were asking."

The family voiced their frustration over the perceived lack of urgency in the police response. Schneider’s location was eventually discovered after his family tracked his cellphone data.

Though his body was found, the family remains concerned that Schneider might have been a victim of foul play. The police have confirmed to Fox 5 Atlanta that they are “investigating the death altogether” and have handed the case over to detectives.

Schneider, known by his TikTok and Instagram handle @Big_Homie_TooTall, created content about his daily life and his aspiring music career.

Schneider is survived by his 5-year-old son.
