Tensions continue to escalate in Kurram

Violence in Kurram district continues to intensify as clashes spread across the region following an attack on Lower Kurram's Bagan area.

Police sources confirmed that fierce fighting is ongoing in areas including Bagan Alizai, Talo Kanj, Jilamai, Kunj Alizai, Maqbal, and Khar Klay Blesh Khel.

Hospital officials reported that two individuals were injured during a renewed attack from Jilamai towards Talo Kanj. Additionally, six people sustained injuries in separate firing incidents across various areas last night.

The death toll during the last six days of clashes has reached 111 with over 150 people injured.
