Rapper Lil Xan on the run after assaulting man at Boston nightclub
Police are currently searching for rapper Lil Xan after a violent altercation at a Boston nightclub last week.
The incident took place early Saturday morning at Royale nightclub, following Lil Xan’s performance. The 28-year-old rapper, whose real name is Nicholas Diego Leanos, was seen in video footage confronting a man at the front of the stage. In the video, Lil Xan first swings a microphone at the man and then kicks him in the head.
While the exact cause of the altercation remains unclear, the footage shows a shocked crowd, and the victim, who was holding a beer, appears visibly startled after the initial blow. He stumbles backward and falls out of view, but is then kicked in the head by Lil Xan. Despite the attack, the man manages to regain his footing and walks away from the stage.
The audience can be heard shouting and trying to intervene as Lil Xan continues to yell angrily at the man. Security quickly escorted the rapper offstage, but another individual in the crowd can be seen arguing with Lil Xan before the rapper yells, “Hey, f*ck you,” at him.
