French winery, Château Miraval, has escalated. Pitt’s legal team has accused Jolie of withholding hundreds of key emails to suppress critical information related to the sale. This high-stakes battle, which started after their 2016 divorce, revolves around the controversial sale of Jolie’s share of the winery to Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler, a deal that Pitt claims was made without his knowledge or consent.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch Weekly, Brad Pitt’s team alleges that Jolie intentionally withheld 126 emails exchanged with her inner circle regarding the sale. These communications involved business associates and consultants and were not protected by attorney-client privilege, as Jolie had claimed. Brad’s legal team argues that this deliberate withholding of emails is an attempt to obscure vital facts about the transaction.

The winery, which the couple initially purchased together, has since become a major point of contention following their separation. Jolie sought to exit the wine business, prompting Brad’s team to negotiate a buyout offer of $54.4 million for her stake, spread over six years. However, Jolie eventually sold her share to Shefler for $64 million, bypassing Pitt’s offer and causing him to challenge the legality of the sale. Brad Pitt has requested the court to annul the transaction, arguing that it was conducted without his consent and in violation of their prior agreements.

Pitt’s legal team continues to push for transparency in the matter, urging the court to compel Jolie to release the withheld communications. The dispute remains a central issue in their post-divorce relationship, particularly concerning shared assets. With the legal battle ongoing, the future of the winery and its ownership remains uncertain.
