Rapper Destroy Lonely arrested after altercation with girlfriend at gas station
Atlanta rapper Destroy Lonely was arrested early Thursday morning after a video surfaced online showing him involved in a heated argument with his girlfriend at a Shell V-Power gas station.
The footage, shared by user @arkywtf on X (formerly Twitter), captures Destroy Lonely shouting at his girlfriend while parked next to his Mercedes-Benz Maybach. In the video, @arkywtf, who appears to have recorded the incident from his car, claims that the rapper was “beating up his girl.” The altercation escalates further when Destroy Lonely’s girlfriend locks him out of the car, prompting him to scream, “open the door.”
Shortly after, police arrived at the scene and arrested Destroy Lonely, instructing him to sit on the ground. While the police did not immediately release details about the charges, the video shows the rapper pleading his innocence during the arrest.

Destroy Lonely, whose real name is Bobby Wardell Sandimanie III, is a 23-year-old rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. Known for his debut album 'If Looks Could Kill' (2023), which peaked at number 18 on the US Billboard 200, he has also made headlines for his legal issues.
In 2023, he was arrested on battery charges, and in June 2024, his ex-girlfriend accused him of physical and mental abuse on X. Although he denied those allegations, it remains unclear whether the girlfriend involved in the gas station incident is the same person.
