Twitch star Félix "xQc" has expressed his belief that fellow streamer Kai Cenat should be banned from the platform following a controversial stunt by magician Max Major.

The stunt, which took place during Cenat's ongoing Mafiathon 2 subathon, involved what appeared to be a life-threatening scenario and has stirred up widespread outrage.

The stunt, which was part of a collaboration between Cenat and Major, involved Max standing on scaffolding with three nooses tied to his neck. Kai was tasked with choosing the correct cord that would prevent Max from being pulled into the air by the ropes.

However, the stunt took a shocking turn when Max was unexpectedly lifted off the ground, leaving both Cenat and his viewers stunned and horrified.

xQc, known for his outspoken opinions, didn’t hold back when commenting on the incident. He stated that despite Major later revealing the stunt was pre-planned and safe, it still created a dangerous precedent for Twitch.

"You're saying it's a skit, but brother, you need to understand that there is a major rule that, I think, is important as well on Twitch and other websites, where it's like, if you do like a fake swatting, insta ban! I think the same thing applies here..." xQc explained, drawing a comparison between the stunt and other controversial actions that have led to swift bans on streaming platforms.

The Canadian streamer continued his criticism, saying, "Cause, dude, otherwise, brother, like, people will do some weird sh** on stream for views. It's just odd. Like, bro, that's, actually odd. This skit is just f**king weird. Imagining inducing like, mental torment on people like, oh dude! You pulled a wire and you just killed somebody. Oh, it's just a prank!"

The stunt, which was meant to "break the internet" as part of Cenat’s Mafiathon 2, left viewers and those present visibly shaken.

Even though Max Major later explained that the stunt was carefully planned and that the outcome was already expected, it didn’t help to calm the concerns of critics like xQc, who feel that such content is far too risky to be allowed on streaming platforms like Twitch.

Cenat, who has been making history with his ongoing subathon, is facing backlash not only for the stunt itself but for the possible consequences of promoting such content. The Mafiathon 2 has featured many notable collaborations with celebrities like Benny Blanco, Chris Brown, and TikTok sensation NPC Miles Morales, but this latest incident has taken the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.

Despite Major’s reassurances that the stunt was part of a larger performance, xQc remains unconvinced, urging Twitch to take action against Cenat. "This could set a dangerous precedent," he warned, pointing out the need for stricter enforcement of the platform’s guidelines.
