The Weeknd has officially revealed that his highly anticipated album Hurry Up Tomorrow will be released on January 24, 2025. To mark the occasion, the Canadian artist is set to perform a one-night-only concert at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, on January 25. This live performance will debut the new album, with a unique stage setup designed to cover the entire stadium floor.

Hurry Up Tomorrow is the final installment of a trilogy that includes After Hours and Dawn FM, both of which were released at two-year intervals. The Weeknd's previous albums earned him global recognition, with Dawn FM featuring collaborations with Tyler, the Creator and Lil Wayne. The artist's recent accomplishments include becoming the first musician to have 22 individual songs surpass one billion streams on Spotify.

The album's first single, "Dancing in Flames," was released on September 13, 2024, shortly after the album's announcement. Additionally, The Weeknd collaborated with Brazilian pop star Anitta on the single "São Paolo," which was dropped on October 30, 2024. To promote the album, The Weeknd also held a special concert in São Paulo, further building anticipation for his new music.

In addition to the album and concert, The Weeknd is also working on a feature film titled Hurry Up Tomorrow. The psychological thriller, which will star The Weeknd himself, Jenna Ortega, and Barry Keoghan, is being directed by Trey Edward Shults and distributed by Lionsgate. The film's score will feature a collaboration between The Weeknd and composer Daniel Lopatin.

Tickets for the Rose Bowl concert will be available starting Monday, December 2, at 10 a.m. PT through The Weeknd's official website.
