STEM education-related projects showcased at exhibit

KARACHI:

Students from the Apwa Government College for Women in the Karimabad area showcased their projects related to STEM education at an exhibition on Saturday.

The exhibition featured a diverse range of projects, including a mathematics park, handmade garments, DNA extraction methods for crime prevention, modern techniques for building ecofriendly cities, a water level indicator, and principles of a balanced diet for college students.

Students showcased a wide range of innovative digital systems and other projects to attendees. They have created new projects using technology to increase public facilities under modern technology, which will lead to a good increase in the facilities of human life. The students of home economics, pre-engineering, pre-medical, commerce, arts, computer science and geography created their own field main projects.

Professor Amber Alia said that the exhibition's objective was to impart knowledge of science and technology to the students. To achieve this, the students were introduced to the concept of STEM education.
