Jhelum struggles with road closures

The people of Jhelum continue to suffer as roads remain closed for the fourth consecutive day as workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf march towards the federal capital.

According to sources, passengers are facing severe hardships, and food prices have surged. There are also growing concerns about a potential fuel shortage at local petrol stations. Despite the ongoing crisis, no one seems to have an answer as to when the roads will reopen.

For the fourth day in a row, roads in Jhelum remain blocked, and residents are struggling with rising prices for groceries, vegetables, fruits, and the looming threat of a petrol shortage. Passengers, including those traveling for personal events like weddings or funerals, have been left stranded, facing inconvenience throughout the day.

Frustrated travellers have expressed their dismay, questioning why they are being punished for the government's political battles with the opposition.
