Drake confirms 'Anita Max Wynn Tour' in Australia this February 2025, returning after eight years

Drake takes his tour to Australia, coinciding with Kendrick Lamar’s highly anticipated Super Bowl performance.

Drake has officially confirmed his return to Australia in 2025, thrilling fans who have waited nearly a decade for his comeback.

The global rap icon revealed the news during a livestream with fellow Canadian and streamer Félix Lengyel, aka XQC, on Monday.

“February 9th for anyone that’s watching from Australia,” Drake announced, adding, “I’m coming back to Australia for the first time in eight years.”

The highly anticipated Anita Max Wynn tour, named after Drake’s alter ego, will kick off in Australia, with confirmed stops in Melbourne, Sydney, and the Gold Coast.

However, fans in Perth remain in suspense as the rapper has yet to confirm if the city will be part of his tour locations.

When asked why he hadn’t toured Down Under in nearly a decade, the five-time Grammy winner responded, “I love it there, it’s just fire.”

Rumors of a possible Australian tour first surfaced in early November when Drake shared a mysterious photo on his Instagram Story.

The image featured him in front of the Sydney Opera House with the cryptic caption: “It’s been like 7 years 👀👀👀.”

A tour prediction website, Whats Lively, fueled the buzz by suggesting there was a 99% chance of an imminent announcement.

Meanwhile, Ticketek has already posted a waitlist on its website, preparing for what is expected to be an overwhelming demand.

Drake, who boasts 73.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify, last performed in Australia during his 2017 Boy Meets World tour, which drew massive crowds across the country.
