Elon Musk couldn’t resist taking a jab at Ellen DeGeneres after reports surfaced that she had left the United States to move to the United Kingdom.

The 53-year-old Tesla CEO seemed to reference a conspiracy theory involving the 66-year-old talk show host and her friendship with disgraced music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs, 55. He made the comment through a post on his platform, X (formerly Twitter), on Thursday.

Musk’s post came after The Wrap reported that DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, had relocated to a home in the Cotswolds, England. The couple reportedly purchased the property just before the recent presidential election, where former President Donald Trump claimed victory.

Although DeGeneres and the Arrested Development actress, 51, bought their UK home in October, a source told TMZ that the election results prompted them "to get the hell out" of the US.

The post also followed the resurfacing of a 2018 interview from *The Ellen DeGeneres Show*, during which DeGeneres hinted at Diddy’s notorious parties.

While Musk highlighted the connection between DeGeneres and Diddy, who is facing charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution — charges he denies — Musk previously referred to Combs as a "close friend" shortly after acquiring X, according to Kate Conger and Ryan Mac’s Character Limit.

Musk’s post quoted an earlier message from another X user that speculated DeGeneres might have known about Diddy’s infamous "freak off" parties, which are alleged to be linked to the criminal charges against him.

The original post Musk shared included a screenshot of a November 4, 2016, tweet from DeGeneres celebrating Combs’ birthday.

"Happy birthday, P Diddy, Puff Daddy, Sean Combs, or as I call him, Cuddle McSnugglestuff. You don't need to know why. @iamdiddy," DeGeneres’ account wrote.

The user who shared the screenshot added: "It makes sense why she fled the country after the election."

Rather than adding his own commentary, Musk simply let the original post speak for itself.

He quoted the post to his 205.5 million followers on X, adding only a skeptical emoji with a raised eyebrow.
