Three 'notorious criminals' held; arms recovered

The Bilal Colony police, on a tip-off, arrested three criminals, during a raid in Sector 5D, New Karachi.

The arrested outlaws include Rehan alias Akash, Asad alias Commando and Asif. Rehan is said to be the most wanted suspect involved in a number of robberies, street crimes, shooting and killings.

A 9mm pistol, a 30 bore pistol, two stolen laptops, eight stolen mobile phones, and two stolen motorcycles used in crime were recovered from their possession.

As per the past criminal record of Rehan alias Akash, he shot dead a citizen during a robbery incident within the limits of Azizabad police station in 2022. He was arrested in April 2023 and sent to jail.

The 125cc motorcycle seized during the raid was snatched from the New Karachi area.

According to the police, Rehan alias Akash is involved in several incidents of shooting at citizens on their resistance during robbery bids.

The police have also obtained CCTV footage of robberies, committed by the arrested gang.
