Scott Presler vows to challenge Bucks County commissioner after election misconduct allegations
Conservative activist Scott Presler, renowned for spearheading Republican voter registration surges in Pennsylvania, has set his sights on Bucks County’s leadership.
During a heated commissioners’ meeting on Wednesday, Presler directly confronted Democratic Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia, accusing her of enabling election misconduct. In a bold declaration, he announced his intention to contest her seat in 2027 unless she resigns.
“I have a message: peacefully, we are coming for your seat in 2027 if you don’t resign today,” Presler said, addressing Marseglia directly. “I am coming for your seat peacefully.”

“Peacefully, we are coming for your seat in 2027 — if you don’t resign today.”
She replied, “Have at it.”

Presler’s fiery critique centered on allegations of voter disenfranchisement during early in-person voting. He cited instances where voters were told they could not cast ballots until specific times, a move he argued suppressed Republican votes. He commended the Republican National Committee for suing Bucks County to secure an additional three days of early voting, calling it a victory for election integrity.
After addressing election integrity concerns, Presler pivoted to celebrating Republican victories in Pennsylvania, including flipping Bucks County from Democratic to Republican control for the first time in modern history. “Congratulations to the patriots of Bucks County,” he said. “We defeated Matt Cartwright, gained additional seats in Congress, and we will not allow Democrats to steal this seat.”
Presler also accused Marseglia of ignoring court rulings, specifically a decision barring undated mail-in ballots. He referenced a quote attributed to Marseglia: “Precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country. People violate laws any time they want.” Presler countered, “You knew that going into the meeting, Commissioner, yet you chose to violate the law anyway.”

Addressing a packed room of supporters, Presler expanded his criticism to include Commissioner Bob Harvey, accusing him of complicity. “Harvey, this goes for you too. I will spend the next three years in Bucks County to ensure we take back this county.”

Presler’s challenge underscores the escalating tensions over election integrity and partisan control in Bucks County. His vow to remain in the area signals a long-term commitment to reshaping its political future. As Bucks County remains a pivotal battleground in Pennsylvania politics, Presler’s presence and efforts may significantly influence the upcoming election cycles.
