Robert Pattinson is reuniting with Christopher Nolan for the filmmaker's latest project, set for release on July 17, 2026.

The actor, who previously starred in Nolan’s 2020 sci-fi thriller Tenet, joins an ensemble cast that includes Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, and Zendaya.

The secretive film, written and directed by Nolan, has few confirmed plot details, though rumors suggest it could range from a period vampire thriller to an action-packed helicopter drama. Sources indicate that Damon, Holland, Hathaway, and Pattinson will play lead roles, while Nyong’o and Zendaya will have supporting parts.

The project will be produced by Nolan and Emma Thomas under their Syncopy banner, with Universal Pictures handling distribution. Filming is expected to begin in early 2025. This marks Nolan’s second feature with Universal following Oppenheimer and his departure from Warner Bros., with whom he had a long-standing relationship.

Pattinson, currently slated to reprise his role as Batman in Matt Reeves’ upcoming sequel, adds yet another high-profile project to his growing filmography with this collaboration.
