Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves McConaughey are blending nostalgia with creativity in their latest campaign for Pantalones tequila. The couple paid homage to McConaughey’s iconic 2003 rom-com How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days by recreating its poster, with McConaughey pants-free and Alves donning a yellow silk dress reminiscent of Kate Hudson's memorable look from the film. The ad is titled “How to Lose Your Pants in 10 Ways.”

In addition to the playful visual, the campaign features ten themed cocktails inspired by the movie, including the “Love Fern Margarita” and “You’re So Vain.” The campaign aligns with Pantalones’ signature pants-free branding, with previous ads celebrating tequila as the “official drink” of carefree moments like mowing the lawn, grilling, and pickleball.

Launched in 2023, Pantalones tequila has quickly gained recognition, earning awards like the San Francisco World Spirits Competition’s double gold for its Añejo tequila. The brand prides itself on offering premium tequila that embodies fun and lightheartedness, with their Blanco and Reposado varieties also earning accolades.

This latest campaign celebrates both the tequila brand’s first anniversary and McConaughey’s enduring legacy as a rom-com icon, seamlessly blending Hollywood charm with tequila-inspired fun.
