‘Now You See Me 3’ wraps filming, unveils first look at returning cast and new additions
Lionsgate has officially wrapped filming for Now You See Me 3, the long-awaited third installment of the heist-centric franchise. Directed by Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland), the film brings back the iconic Four Horsemen magicians, played by Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco, alongside Mark Ruffalo. The new chapter, slated for release on November 14, 2025, also introduces newcomers Rosamund Pike, Ariana Greenblatt, Justice Smith, and Dominic Sessa.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the official Now You See Me account unveiled first-look images celebrating the end of filming. The images feature returning and new cast members, offering a glimpse of what’s to come. Plot details remain under wraps, but the film is expected to follow the Four Horsemen’s adventures, with Ruffalo’s Agent Dylan Rhodes potentially leading the secret society of magicians known as The Eye.
Fleischer takes over directing duties from Jon M. Chu, aiming to inject new energy into the series while maintaining its signature wit and spectacle. The director’s comedic style could bring a fresh dynamic to the franchise, which has captivated audiences with its illusory heists since 2013.
This marks the first installment since Now You See Me 2 in 2016, which ended with Rhodes being invited to lead The Eye. Speculation points to the possibility of a soft reboot, introducing a new generation of magicians. The addition of Pike, Sessa, Smith, and Greenblatt hints at evolving dynamics and new challenges in the storyline.
Fans can expect a blend of returning charm and fresh intrigue when Now You See Me 3 debuts in theaters next year.
