Paul Teal, best known for his role as Josh Avery in One Tree Hill, has passed away at the age of 35 following a battle with Stage 4 neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer.

Teal’s fiancée, Emilia Torello, confirmed his passing on November 15, revealing he was diagnosed in April. Despite his illness, Teal continued working on the Starz series The Hunting Wives, with Torello crediting the cast and crew for their support.

Teal appeared in seven episodes of One Tree Hill during its seventh season and was celebrated for his humor and dedication to his craft. Co-star Bethany Joy Lenz expressed her grief, recalling his bright smile and generous spirit, saying, “Life is short. I keep thinking that this week.”

In addition to his role on One Tree Hill, Teal's career included appearances in The Walking Dead: World Beyond, Outer Banks, American Rust, and Deep Water. Fans and colleagues alike have shared heartfelt tributes, honoring his talent and resilience.
