'Sharif family's bankruptcy ploy to dodge taxes'

PPP leader Nadeem Afzal Chan has accused the Sharif family of exploiting bankruptcy as a means to evade taxes.

"The same misdeeds committed here are also being replicated in London. Have some shame," he said while commenting on the London court's recent decision to declare Hasan Nawaz bankrupt.

He lambasted the Sharif family's attempt to bring Bhutto's era into the discussion, calling it irrelevant to the current controversy.

"You are declaring bankruptcy today in the UK, so how does Bhutto's era come into play? Tell the nation the truth: you declared yourselves bankrupt to avoid paying taxes in Britain," he remarked.
