PTI ramps up prep for march on Capital
In preparation for the upcoming Islamabad long march called by Imran Khan on November 24, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh visited seven districts before arriving at the Karachi Bar Association office in City Court. Sheikh met with lawyers from the Karachi Bar Association, inviting them to participate in the march. The lawyers received the invitations with commitment and pledged their participation.
Sheikh, accompanied by President of Insaf Lawyers Forum Sindh Advocate Riaz Afandi, Karachi President Advocate Zahooruddin Mehsud, Advocate Noor A Malik, Advocate Nazirullah Mehsud, Advocate Abdul Qayoom Banori, and Karachi Bar Association Vice President Advocate Nasrullah Jalbani, also distributed pamphlets within the court premises. He praised the lawyers' historical role in supporting judicial independence and urged them to join the protest called by Imran Khan.
During the meeting with Karachi Bar President Advocate Aamir Nawaz Warraich, General Secretary Advocate Ikhtiar Ali Channa, Advocate Syed Israr Shah, Advocate Abdul Rehman Korai, and other senior members, Sheikh invited them to join the movement against ongoing injustices, judicial constraints, and to uphold the rule of law.
