The president of the chamber of agriculture, Syed Nadeem Qamar, has appealed to the government to waive all agricultural loans given to the people of flood-affected areas. He said that over a billion acres of crops have been destroyed and the farmers should be given subsidised fertiliser and free seeds. Qamar was addressing a news conference at the chamber of agriculture.
