Jake Paul and Mike Tyson’s much-anticipated boxing match not only made waves for its outcome but also for the massive paychecks the fighters received.

The fight, streamed globally on Netflix, marked a historic crossover between sports and entertainment, with jaw-dropping payouts that reflected its scale.

Mike Tyson, 58, reportedly earned $20 million for the bout, a figure matching his legendary 1988 purse against Michael Spinks when adjusted for inflation.

Despite Tyson’s impressive career earnings of $400 million, his current net worth stands at $10 million following a bankruptcy declaration in 2013.

Jake Paul, at just 27 years old, walked away with an estimated $40 million, doubling Tyson’s earnings. Paul’s financial edge stems from his co-ownership of Most Valuable Promotions, which co-organized the event alongside Netflix.

With a growing net worth of $80 million, Paul continues to solidify his position as a boxing entrepreneur and social media mogul.

The fight’s total purse is estimated at $80 million, with ticket sales alone generating $17.8 million in revenue.

Fans packed the AT&T Stadium in Texas, while Netflix’s 282 million global subscribers had access to the platform’s largest live sports event yet.

The staggering earnings underscore how the blend of celebrity culture and combat sports has redefined boxing’s financial landscape, turning it into a spectacle that captivates audiences and generates millions in revenue.
