Kai Cenat pushes for Adin Ross’s Twitch unban amid rumors of Kick departure
Streamer Kai Cenat has announced his intention to advocate for fellow streamer Adin Ross’s return to Twitch. This follows rumors of a possible rift between Ross and his current platform, Kick, where he has been exclusively streaming since being banned from Twitch in February 2023. The ban was imposed after Ross allegedly streamed unmoderated content containing offensive material.
During a recent livestream, Cenat addressed his audience, saying, “I am going to try one last time to get him unbanned. I am going to try one last time, bro, on Twitch.” The comment reflects Cenat’s ongoing efforts to persuade Twitch to reconsider its decision. He had previously revealed plans to secure Ross’s unbanning by December 2024, aiming for a potential Christmas collaboration.
Ross has also voiced his desire to return to Twitch, citing the inability to collaborate with Twitch streamers as a significant limitation. In earlier discussions, Cenat disclosed that Twitch CEO Dan Clancy indicated that Ross must demonstrate behavioral changes for the ban to be lifted.
Cenat, one of Twitch’s most prominent figures, has a history of advocating for fellow streamers. In 2023, he publicly appealed to Clancy to reinstate IShowSpeed, a request that was eventually granted months later. His current push for Ross’s return highlights his influence and dedication to his peers in the streaming community.
