USD exchange rate: Rupee continues rally against USD

British Pound sold for Rs353.00 and bought for Rs352.36.

The Pakistani Rupee (PKR) has continued its appreciateion gaining 10.99 paisa, or 0.04%, against the US Dollar during Thursday’s interbank session.

In the open market, exchange companies quoted the US Dollar at Rs277.02 for buying and Rs278.80 for selling.

Against the Euro, the Ruppee rose by Rs1.53, or 0.52%, closing at Rs293.07 compared to the previous rate of Rs294.60.

This upward trend continued against the British Pound as well, with the Ruppee appreciating by Rs1.42 or 0.40%, to close at Rs352.44 from Rs353.86.

Among other currencies, the Euro maintained a selling rate of Rs293.55 and a buying rate of Rs293.02.

Meanwhile the British Pound sold for Rs353.00 and bought for Rs352.36.

The Canadian Dollar held steady at Rs198.63 for selling and Rs198.28 for buying.

The Australian Dollar remained consistent at Rs180.05 for selling and Rs179.73 for buying.

The U.A.E Dirham sold at Rs76.29 and bought at Rs76.16, with the Saudi Riyal slightly lower at Rs74.07 for selling and Rs73.94 for buying.

In high-value trades, the Kuwaiti Dinar held firm with a selling rate of Rs904.01 and buying at Rs902.39.

On the other hand, The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued to experience a strong bullish trend today, with the KSE-100 index surpassing 94,000 points during intra day trading on Thursday,

The market began the day with a surge of 547 points, pushing the index to 93,903 points.

As investor confidence grew, the market continued its upward momentum, reaching a peak of 94,217 points with a gain of 816 points at one point.

By 12 PM, the KSE-100 index had risen by 799 points, reaching 94,154 points.

This follows a strong start to the business week, where the index had already crossed the 94,000 mark.
