Reflecting on the experience, Sweeney expressed dismay over the industry's tendency to undermine young talent. She explained, “It’s very disheartening to see women tear other women down… this industry claims ‘women empowering other women,’ but none of it’s happening.” Sweeney highlighted what she perceives as a generational mindset that pits women against one another rather than fostering mutual support.
