Liam Payne allegedly sent "unsolicited and disturbing" X-rated photos of himself to his ex-girlfriend Maya Henry and her family before his death. This claim is based on a cease and desist letter issued by Henry's attorneys against the late One Direction singer.

According to court documents, which were reportedly filed on October 9, per NY Post and Page Six, the legal action occurred a week before Payne’s tragic death in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The legal notice from Maya Henry's attorneys stated: "[Payne] repeatedly sent unsolicited and disturbing images and videos in the past to Maya Henry, and Maya's family members."

The alleged explicit images included photos of Payne's genitals and multiple videos where he allegedly engaged in disturbing sexual acts. The notice also accused the British singer of "actively communicating" with others to distribute "intimate visual material" of Henry, who was in a relationship with Payne from 2018 to 2022.

According to the letter, on October 6, Maya Henry received an Instagram message from a woman claiming that the former One Direction member had contacted her. Payne allegedly offered to send this individual nude photos of both Henry and his current girlfriend, presumably Kate Cassidy.

Henry’s lawyers reportedly issued the cease and desist letter to Payne, warning him of potential "criminal action" or a civil lawsuit against him and others involved for "any violation or continued threat against Maya Henry." They also stated that Henry would pursue punitive damages if Payne were to "defame, threaten, harass, or intimidate Henry or her family," although the amount sought was not specified.

It remains unclear if Payne responded to the notice, as he passed away before the 10-business-day response deadline.

In addition to her legal action, Maya Henry has publicly discussed the abuse she allegedly endured during her relationship with Payne.

In a TikTok video posted on October 6, she made serious accusations regarding Payne’s abusive behavior and stalking, stating: "Ever since we broke up, he messages me, will blow up my phone, not only from his phone, it's always from different phone numbers too, so I never know where it's gonna come from."
