Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a warning regarding potential aircraft slippage on Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport Runway 25L due to wet conditions at night.

As seasonal weather changes bring increased dew levels, Runway 25L is particularly susceptible to becoming slippery, especially during night-time operations.

According to CAA’s advisory, the accumulation of moisture on the runway surface raises the risk of slippage, with pilots advised to maintain high alertness, particularly during landings.

The CAA advised airlines to exercise caution during landing and take-off to prevent accidents.

The CAA is actively monitoring the situation and encourages pilots and airlines to strictly adhere to safety protocols until further notice.
