President Zardari thanks Xi Jinping for strengthening Pak-China ties

President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Chinese President Xi Jinping for his message of goodwill following Zardari’s recent injury, marking the exchange a testament to the strong Pakistan-China alliance.

In a letter dated November 3, President Xi conveyed concern over Zardari’s condition and extended wishes for a swift recovery. President Xi also invited Zardari to visit China at a mutually convenient time.

Xi underscored the enduring "all-weather" friendship between Pakistan and China, reiterating their commitment to building a shared future. “China values its relationship with Pakistan deeply, especially as we enter a new era,” he said.

Responding to the invitation, Zardari expressed eagerness to visit China soon, noting that the visit would further bolster "ironclad" ties between the two nations. He praised President Xi's “visionary leadership” and thanked him for supporting the strategic partnership between Pakistan and China.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral relations, emphasising the unique and resilient nature of their countries' cooperation across various domains.
