Nara and Lucky Blue Smith draw criticism as netizens question ‘trad-wife’ lifestyle and Trump ties
Model Lucky Blue Smith is drawing criticism online following a viral Reddit post claiming he and his wife, Nara Smith, are supporters of Donald Trump.
The post, shared in the Fauxmoi subreddit, includes screenshots allegedly showing Smith reposting a pro-Trump video from conservative activist Scott Presler and following another Trump supporter, Charlie Kirk, on Instagram. Although some fans expressed surprise, many were quick to comment on Smith’s conservative values, citing his and Nara’s purported "trad-wife" lifestyle and Mormon faith.
The "trad-wife" controversy, surrounding Nara’s promotion of traditional gender roles on TikTok, has previously raised questions about the couple's conservative leanings. Nara recently addressed the criticism in British GQ, stating that she shares homemaking videos for inspiration rather than endorsing any ideology.
Despite claims, at the time of writing, Kirk does not appear in Smith’s Instagram following. Lucky Blue Smith and Nara married in 2020 and share three children, with Lucky also co-parenting a daughter from a previous relationship. The allegations have since trended on social media, with mixed reactions from both supporters and critics.
