Edhi volunteers transferred the bodies to the morgue after police completed initial investigations

Two individuals were discovered dead in separate incidents in Lahore on Sunday, with initial reports indicating drug overdose as the likely cause.

According to Edhi representative, the first body, an unidentified man approximately 45 years old, was recovered near Data Darbar on Shesh Mahal Road. The second body, identified as a female, was found in the Pearl Society area of Kahna. Both individuals were reportedly known drug users, and it is suspected that they succumbed to fatal overdoses.

Following standard procedure, Edhi volunteers transferred the bodies to the morgue after police completed initial investigations. Edhi spokespersons confirmed that no family members have come forward to claim either body.

Meanwhile, police in Nadarabad area apprehended a man accused of attempting to assault a seven-year-old girl, following an emergency call to the helpline on Sunday.
