Long-distance ails Saheefa Jabbar
During a lighthearted conversation with Faysal Qureshi on the Pressure Buhat Hey! podcast, Saheefa Jabbar Khattak rued her anxiety of going to the gym and having to endure a long-distance relationship with her loving husband.
"I have a very bad phobia of the gym," she quipped. "I go to the gym, I pay the fee, I train for two days, then I just can't go back." When asked how she manages to stay fit despite her fears, Saheefa revealed that depression is what causes her to lose weight and look like this.
Her appetite is reliant on grief, though her confessions were brimming with laughter. "People ask me for tips on how to lose weight. And I advise them to also send their husbands away, impose a long-distance relationship on themselves, and live with the fact that neither can they go to their spouses, nor can their husbands leave Canada to meet them," she said.
According to the 32-year-old actor, when you have a bad husband, such an arrangement is a treat. But her husband doesn't seem to belong to that category, which is why the ordeal brings her immense sorrow. "He is so sweet. If you ever get to meet him, you'll see he's an amazing, amazing person," she gushed.
However, Saheefa isn't the only celebrity subjected to these unfortunate circumstances. Earlier, actor Madiha Imam Basar lamented over the same situation, coincidentally also in conversation with Faysal Qureshi.
Madiha considers herself lucky for how the strings of fate aligned for her, but she absolutely does not recommend long-distance relationships. "It's not easy. Resolvable fights drag on for weeks all because of our phones. Long-distance is terrible," she shared. "Of course, there's the pro that distance makes the heart grow fonder, but honestly I would rather live with the person."
