Imran set for graft case statement on 11th
The £190m case on Friday entered its final stages as an accountability court provided former prime minister Imran Khan and his spouse Bushra Bibi with a questionnaire for their final statements under Section 342 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC), 1898.
During the proceedings, the court provided the PTI founder and his wife with a questionnaire, containing 79 questions related to the reference.
The questionnaire was received by the couple's lawyer, Salman Safdar, in their presence. They are set to submit their responses to the questionnaire on Nov 11.
Separately, another trial court reserved its order on the couple's acquittal pleas in a case related to violation of rules with regard to acquisition of gifts from the official gifts repository, Toshakhana.
