K-P govt, teachers reach deal
Primary teachers Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa have been on strike for the last four days, closing down the majority of educational institutions. However, there seems to be some light at the end of the road after a government representative announced that all the teachers' demands had been met.
It is expected that an announcement will be made at the teachers' Peshawar sit-in at
Jinnah Park.
It was also decided that the government would halt the suspension of protesting teachers. Additionally, the suspension orders for the 200 teachers in Karak will also be withdrawn.
