Man, accomplices booked for attempt to kidnap teenage girl
The Orangi Town police have registered a case against the named and other accused under section 365 B and 511-34 of alleged attempt to kidnapping the teenage girl, on the complaint of her father.
The plaintiff in the case, Muhammad Nauman, has given a statement to the police that he is a resident of Gabol Colony, Orangi Town, and works as a dyer, while his wife works as a domestic servant. He mentioned that he got engaged his 16-year-old daughter (N) two months ago, since then a boy named Ali Ahmed living in the neighbourhood, become their enemy and started harassing, beating and threatening them in different ways. He said, on Thursday, he and his wife went to work while their daughter was present at home. At around 2.30pm Ali Ahmed along with some 10 to 12 boys came to his house. Ali Ahmed had a weapon in his hand. He entered the house while his colleagues stayed outside the house in the street. The accused grabbed his daughter's hand and told her to go with him and tried to take her by force. In the mean time, his wife came home and the people of the neighbourhood also gathered so Ali Ahmad escaped with his accomplices.
On the statement of Nauman, the police registered a case and handed it over to the investigation unit for further probe.
