Traffic warden suspended over misconduct

A traffic police assistant has been suspended following allegations of misconduct with a female driver in Lahore's Garhi Shahu area.

The incident has prompted an official inquiry ordered by senior traffic police authorities.

The incident began when Traffic Assistant Naveed stopped a female driver for a seatbelt violation and requested her vehicle documents.

The woman alleged that the officer became confrontational, using a harsh tone and engaging in disrespectful behaviour during their exchange over the traffic violation.
