Govt representatives to formally announce decision at the sit-in demonstration on Saturday

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government and representatives of protesting teachers reached a successful agreement on Friday, with authorities agreeing to meet all of the teachers’ demands.

According to Express News, following negotiations between the provincial government and protesting teachers, officials confirmed that all demands would be accepted.

Government representatives are expected to formally announce the decision at the teachers’ sit-in demonstration on Saturday.

Teachers from K-P, primarily from primary schools, have been staging a sit-in protest in Peshawar for several days.

They were demanding job upgrades and other benefits, which led to the suspension of teaching activities across schools in the province.
