Twitch streamer Zepla cancels streams following mother’s sudden death
Twitch streamer and YouTuber Zepla, known for her popular Final Fantasy XIV content, announced on Friday via X (formerly Twitter) that she has canceled all upcoming streams following her mother’s sudden passing.
In an emotional message, Zepla wrote, “My mom was found unresponsive this morning, no pulse… the paramedics just left. They couldn’t save her. So… no streams until further notice.” She later expressed her shock and grief, stating, “I’m in shock, just cold all over. Don’t know what to say.”
A few moments later, Zepla attributed her mother’s passing to alcohol in a heart-wrenching post.
Zepla, also known online as Xepla, has over 260,000 followers on Twitch and more than 300,000 subscribers on YouTube. She initially gained popularity by sharing guides, lore discussions, and content related to Final Fantasy XIV, including tutorials and song covers. Her channel also includes commentary on games like World of Warcraft and NieR: Automata, along with vlogs on her experiences after fleeing Ukraine due to Russia’s invasion.
