Joe Rogan tells Trump to ignore the haters and focus on unity: "Let them all talk their sh**'
Joe Rogan, the popular podcaster and UFC commentator, recently cautioned President-elect Donald Trump not to respond to critics on the left, advising him to “let them all talk their s---” and focus instead on uniting the country.
Speaking on his widely-followed show, 'The Joe Rogan Experience,' Rogan emphasized, “This one is one of the first times ever where there's a real chance to make real tangible change that’s gonna be for the good of everybody. He’s gotta unite people… Now it's time to unite everybody.”
Rogan’s advice comes after he officially endorsed Trump for the 2024 presidential race—a shift from his 2020 support for Democratic Socialist Bernie Sanders.
The endorsement followed Rogan’s recent interview with Trump, which spanned over three hours and covered topics such as UFOs, the JFK assassination files, and Trump’s own experience with an assassination attempt. Trump’s visit to Rogan’s Austin studio quickly went viral, accumulating over 46 million views.
Trump acknowledged the endorsement at a recent rally, calling Rogan “the biggest there is… in that world, by far,” and joking about the show making him late for another campaign event.
“Joe Rogan just endorsed me, is that right? Thank you, Joe,” Trump said to his supporters.
Rogan’s endorsement comes as a reversal of his previous stance, as in 2022 he expressed reluctance to host Trump, fearing it could impact the election.
Rogan had also considered inviting Kamala Harris onto his show, though logistics prevented it. Reflecting on his endorsement of Trump, Rogan praised Tesla CEO Elon Musk, saying, “If it wasn’t for him, we’d be f---ed,” and credited Musk for making “the most compelling case for Trump.”
